In today’s post, I’m going to give you some tips on how to switch to a minimalist lifestyle!
But first… what is minimalism?
Minimalism, aside from being an art style, it’s a way of living with only what’s truly essential.
It’s giving value to things and get rid of what doesn’t make us feel good or it’s a source of distraction.
Write down all the things you haven’t used for the last 6-12months (including clothes!)
Give a new life for any plastic bottle or container… it could become a great tool to make your kitchen more organized!
In 2018 we shouldn’t use that much paper, it’s a waste and does no good for the planet so go digital! It’s easy to ask our phone provider to send the bills via email, it’s faster, there’s no delay and no waste!
If you know what you’re going to cook, you’re not going to buy something not included! Easy peasy!
Save space in your luggage plus no risk of having extra weight. For a weekend you don’t need 5 dresses and 4 pairs of shoes, right?
It’s pretty easy, if you buy something new, something must go! Keep your makeup basic because you don’t need 10 shades of foundation or 5 types of eyeliner!
A minimalistic house is a clean house.
Before tossing something, ask yourself these three questions:
– Does it make me feel happy?
– Is it useful?
– Is it a unique piece?
Well, if one of the answers is yes, keep it!
Putting similar things together will help you find out duplicates so it will be easier for you to know what to toss.
